La civetta guarda sguardi anche dietro le sue spalle,
I serpenti non le hanno ma sbottonano la pelle,
Gatto bianco ruba luce e la rende a chi lo vede,
Gatto nero la nasconde e se non l'ha non la richiede,
Ho svitato nove stelle per donarle a un altro cielo,
Ho toccato il porcospino e ho baciato il calamaro,
Lupo canta il tuo viaggiare sulla roccia vanitosa,
Ridipingi questo buio senza testa con la coda .

Munching a thousand nights, grinding my ankles,
I seek the framed kingdom where the nightjar reigns,
An unhurried water eye and a golden lightning pupil,
Every trampled leaf has a roar and a whisper,
Every well-placed stone has a victorious silence
And supports my journey between walking and thinking,
May a dream without veils snow in my centre,
May the timeless branch entwine the three clouds,
May the king of these shores graze his waves,
May the wind deliver a truce to its coughing

The owl sees gazes even behind her shoulders,
The snakes do not have them but unbutton their skin,
The white cat steals light and returns it to those who see it,
