Before writing these songs
We spoke through the subject and moment in detail
This song was written at the start of the process in going back to the start of my life
It was recorded with a full band, but ended up being just piano and a little bit of guitar
I wanted, that kind of Joe Cocker feeling, obviously, after being named after one of his songs delts lady

Now, I ended up sharing the story that this song was about, uhm, how I entered into the world
I started sharing how I was born from a car crash and that I was premature
And we both had to really fight for our life when I first came into the world
And when-, when I entered into mom's world, I told this story to Trilogy and they all started crying, and
When they first got on the microphone and started singing, they're absolutely beautiful heartfelt way

In that first, "I got faith," it, uhm, you actually, you really hear that it's distorting
But I left it in because the passion was there as they were all
So from their heart and soul in that moment

Bevor wir diese Songs schrieben,
sprachen wir ausführlich über das Thema und den Moment.
Dieses Lied wurde zu Beginn des Prozesses geschrieben, als ich an den Anfang meines Lebens zurückging.
Es wurde mit einer kompletten Band aufgenommen, aber am Ende waren es nur Klavier und ein bisschen Gitarre.
Ich wollte dieses Gefühl von Joe Cocker, natürlich, nachdem ich nach einem seiner Songs, "Delta Lady", benannt wurde.

Nun, ich erzählte schließlich die Geschichte, worum es in diesem Song ging, ähm, wie ich in die Welt kam.
Ich erzählte, wie ich durch einen Autounfall geboren wurde und dass ich eine Frühgeburt war.
Und wir mussten beide wirklich um unser Leben kämpfen, als ich das erste Mal auf die Welt kam.
Und als-, als ich in Mamas Welt eintrat, erzählte ich diese Geschichte Trilogy, und sie fingen alle an zu weinen, und
als sie das erste Mal ans Mikrofon gingen und anfingen zu singen, auf ihre absolut wunderschöne, herzliche Art.

In diesem ersten "Ich habe Vertrauen", ähm, hört man tatsächlich, dass es verzerrt.
Aber ich habe es drin gelassen, weil die Leidenschaft da war, als sie alle
so aus tiefstem Herzen und mit ganzer Seele in diesem Moment dabei waren.
