Auwei, Auwei, was mach' ich nur,
Mir raucht schon fast der Kopf,
Das soll doch eine Glocke sein.

So wie der aussieht find ich's blöd,
Das hat wohl keinen Sinn.
Die ganze Arbeit für die Katz,
Jetzt schmeiß ich alles hin.

Die Lehrerin war sehr bemüht
Und hat uns beigebracht,
Wie man aus einem Stückchen Stoff
Den schönsten Engel macht.
Zum Schluss wurd' er noch angemalt,
Beklebt mit Goldpapier.
Bei allen hat es gut geklappt,
Doch leider nicht bei mir
Bei der Weihnachtsbastelei,
Da geht alles mir entzwei.

Was mach ich nur, die Zeit die rennt,

Den Kleber habe ich im Haar,
Die Farbe im Gesicht.
Geschenke basteln fällt mir schwer,

Doch da kommt Onkel Franz herein,
