Hudeybiye

The month of Dhul Hijjah,
A dream came to the Prophet,
Settles upon the heart of the Prophet, whose heart never sleeps,
Shares his joy with his companions, the beloved,
Shares every moment of the dream, syllable by syllable,
The key to the Kaaba was presented that night,
Tears of joy in the companions' eyes,
Our master enters ihram at Dhul Hulaifah,
Our mother Umm Salama is by his side,
And they,
The Companions of the Chosen One, who leave even angels in awe with their submission,
Flowing like a river, our masters,
And a man sets out from Mecca,
His name is Urwah ibn Mas'ud,
O Muhammad, turn back,
Because the people of Mecca have sworn
Not to let you and your men into the Kaaba,
Urwah speaks while stroking our master's beard,
At that moment, Muire bin Shuba is on duty next to our master,
Seeing Urwah's action,
He strikes his hand with the sheath of his sword,
Take your hands off the beard of the Messenger of Allah,
Or I will separate that hand from your body,
The hand of a polytheist cannot touch him,
Urwah returns to Mecca,
He calls out to the polytheists of Mecca,
O people of Quraysh,
I come from a community such that
They will never leave Muhammad,
They will not let a single hair of his be harmed,
Our beloved Prophet thinks his intention is not understood,
Therefore, Uthman is in Mecca with ten people,
It is a few days after Uthman's departure,
The Companion pours out his heart to our Master with longing,
O Messenger of Allah, I wish we were in Uthman's place,
Now he has seen Mecca,
And visited the Kaaba,
Our master smiles,
While we have not visited,
I do not think Uthman would circumambulate the Kaaba without us,
Indeed it was so,
The Meccans had offered, but Hz. Uthman
Had said, "I will not circumambulate the Kaaba until the Messenger of Allah does,"
They detained him in Mecca because of this statement,
And a lie reached the companions,
Uthman and his friends had been martyred,
A muezzin called out to the companions,
Gabriel came to the Messenger of Allah and commanded that allegiance be given,
Go and pledge allegiance in the name of Allah,
Under the beloved Samura tree,
Some companions shade him with the leaves in their hands,
Some hold the branches of the tree so they don't touch his back,
Some, like Umar, put their hands under his arm for support so he doesn't get tired, beloved,
And that day, the companions pledged allegiance in groups,
"Until Allah grants you victory and conquest,
To wield the sword before you or to die,"
The polytheists receive the news of the allegiance and send an envoy to sign a peace treaty,
The envoy sent is Suhayl ibn Amr,
The terms of the treaty will be written on paper,
The pen is in Hz Ali's hand,
Our master commands Ali,
Start the writing with Bismillah,
Suhayl jumps in,
No, don't write like that,
We don't know what Bismillah is,
We don't know what Rahman means,
Start with the name of Allah,
Suhayl's objection angers the companions,
By Allah, we will not write or have written anything other than Bismillah,
Suhayl then says, "I will not make this treaty,"
Our beloved Prophet to Ali;
Write as Suhayl said, he is a good man, he says,
The companions are silent,
The writing of the treaty continues,
These articles are from Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah ...
No, says Suhayl, erase that,
If we believed you were the Messenger of Allah,
We wouldn't fight you,
Our master is calm,
Well, how should we write it?
Write as Muhammad, son of Abdullah,
This time the companions are outraged,
Sa'd ibn Ubadah grabs Ali's hand,
Don't write anything other than Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah,
Otherwise, the sword will settle this matter,
Our master gestures with his hand for the companions to be silent,
Hz. Ali says, "O Messenger of Allah, I cannot erase your title of Messenger,"
Our master says, "Show me where it is, I will erase it,"
And he erases the place Ali showed him with his blessed hand,
The companions are sad,
According to the terms of the treaty, the Kaaba will not be visited that year,
Hz Umar speaks for many companions,
O Messenger of Allah, didn't you say we would enter the Haram-i Sharif?
Why are we not visiting the Kaaba?
Are you not the Prophet of Allah?
Are these not polytheists?
Why do we have to endure this humiliation?
Our master's heart is grieved,
"I said we would enter the Haram-i Sharif,
But I did not say we would enter this year," he says,
And our Prophet commands,
Slaughter your sacrifices, shorten your hair,
We are returning to Medina,
No one obeys the command,
He repeats the command three times,
And returns to his tent sadly,
In the tent, our mother Umm Salama,
Seeing our master,
Says, "What happened, O Messenger of Allah?"
The Beloved of the Beloved is sad,
What is wrong with these people that they do not listen to me?
I tell them to slaughter their sacrifices,
They all just look at my face,
Our mother Umm Salama;
Says, "O Messenger of Allah,"
Go outside now, but don't say anything to them,
Otherwise, because they did not listen to you,
Allah will destroy them,
Slaughter your sacrifice and shorten your hair,
When they see you, they will surely do the same,"
Our master slaughtered his sacrifice without saying anything,
When the companions saw this state of the Prophet,
They raced each other to slaughter their sacrifices,
Hudaibiya was a peace treaty that heralded conquest,
It was the door to victory,
Soon the Meccan polytheists would violate the treaty,
The Messenger of Allah would conquer Mecca,
Loyalty requires proof,
Hudaibiya was the place where loyalty was tested,
That day, allegiance was to death,
And it would have been worth it to die,
Today, our allegiance is upon repentance,
O Divine, accept our repentance,
Make us among the truthful,
