Suat'ın derdi bana yetmezmiş gibi
Ey Ebi Sülma'nın oğlu sen kendini ölmüş bil
Ben de koştum güvendiğim dostlara
Kime başvurdumsa, "Biz yokuz bu işte
Var git kendin bak başının çaresine" demezler mi?
Ben de onlara dedim ki, gidin beni yalnız bırakın
Neye hükmetmişse o olur, hükmeden o Allah ki
Yaşamak dediğiniz nedir, bin yıl yaşansa bile
Eninde sonunda insanoğlu o kambur tahta kutuya girmeyecek, binmeyecek mi?

Haber geldi, peygamber seni öyle bir cezaya çarptıracak ki
"Siz bilirsiniz, hey zavallılar!" dedim
İşte onun kapısındayım, yüreğimde sonsuz bağışlanma ümidi
Ondan özür dilemeye geldim, af istemeye geldim
Çünkü O sırrını bilendir, kabul edicidir mazeretleri
O affedenlerin en affedicisi
İçi hidayet öğüdü en yüce gerçeklerle dolu Kur'an'ı
Sana armağan eden Allah için ver bana bir savunma mühleti
Bakma ve zaten bakmazsın sözlerine beni kıskananların
Senin hükmün onlara değil, Hakk'a ayarlı
Ve ben de bir parça suçluyum belki
Ama senin makamındayım, fillerin bile titrediği makamda
Bir makam ki, titrerdi bir fil benim gördüklerimi görse, işitse işittiklerimi

Burada beni ancak Allah buyruğuna bağlı Peygamber affı kurtarır
Bende onun öc ve adalet eline uzatıyorum, işte sağ elimi
Beni ancak O kurtarabilir burda, yalnız O
Şimdi söz yalnız O'nun

Bırakmadan çarpışmayı, haram sayarak kendine savaşı terketmeyi
Heybetinden kısılır sesleri yırtıcı çöl arslanlarının
Arslanlar arasında bile o dağıtır adaleti

Parçalandı silahları ve elbiseleri, kurda kuşa yem oldu
Bu vadide kendi gücüne bileğine güvenen nice kişi
Şüphe yok ki, Peygamber, en keskin bir kılıçtır, kılıçlarından Allah'ın
Sonsuz bir kurtuluşa, nura ve hidayete alıp götüren bizi
Ve arkadaşları O'nun, Mekke vâdisinde İslâmı kabul eden
Kureyşin en ileri gelenleri, cömertlikte ve yiğitlikte hiç birinin yok dengi
İlk günler göçmek gerekliydi, hemen göçtüler, zerre tereddüt etmeden
Bırakarak yurtlarını, tüten ocaklarını, mal ve mülklerini
Yerlerinde kalanlar çarpışamıyacak güçte olanlardı
Onlar da, müdafaasız ve silahsız, çepeçevre küfürle çevrili, bugünü hazırlamış ve beklemişlerdi
Evet, bunlar, başları dimdik gezen yiğit üstü yiğit
Davud'a mahsus demir gömlektir zırh diye giydikleri
Zırhları pırıl pırıl, upuzun çelikten
Büklümleri öyle ki, birbirine geçip kaynamış bir ayrık otunun halkaları gibi
Mızrakları düşmanı devirse yere, gurur nedir bilmezler
Yenilirlerse bilmezler nedir umut kesme, yok ya yenildikleri!
Ak soy develer gibidir gidişleri, korunmaları da saldırış
Vurulunca göğüslerinden vurulurlar
Onlar ürkmez, onlardan ürker dev dalgalı ölüm denizi

Ode of the Mantle

My two-faced enemies, those who wield words as weapons and seek revenge, the foes of my tribe,
They declared, "O son of Abi Sulma, you are doomed!"
As if the pain of Suat wasn't enough,
O son of Abi Sulma, consider yourself dead.
I rushed to the friends I trusted,
But whoever I turned to, they said, "We are not involved in this,
Go and find your own solution," they wouldn't hesitate to say.
So I told them, leave me alone,
Whatever He has decreed will happen, for He is Allah, the Ruler.
What is this life you speak of, even if one lived a thousand years,
In the end, won't every human enter that hunched wooden box, won't they ride in it?

News arrived, the Prophet will inflict upon you such a punishment,
"You know best, oh pitiful ones!" I said.
Here I am at his door, with boundless hope for forgiveness in my heart,
I have come to apologize, to seek his pardon,
For He is the Knower of secrets, the Acceptor of excuses,
He is the Most Forgiving of forgivers.
For the sake of Allah, who bestowed upon you the Quran,
Filled with guidance, advice, and the highest truths, grant me a chance to defend myself.
Do not heed, and indeed you wouldn't, the words of those envious of me,
Your judgment aligns with Truth, not with them.
And perhaps I am partly to blame,
But I stand in your presence, in a position that makes even elephants tremble,
A position where even an elephant would shudder if it saw what I have seen and heard what I have heard.

Here, only the Prophet's forgiveness, bound by Allah's command, can save me.
I extend my right hand to his hand of vengeance and justice,
Only He can rescue me here, only He.
Now the word belongs solely to Him.
But if He were to say, "You are guilty, you shall face your punishment," the weight of justice would find my head bowed before him.
That would be the most awe-inspiring sight for me,
For He is the leader of lions, reigning in his magnificent abode,
Within the endless layers of lion dens.
A lion who hunts early, whose cubs feed on human flesh,
A lion who, on the battlefield, is his own enemy's equal,
Never abandoning the fight, considering it forbidden to leave the battle.
The voices of ferocious desert lions are silenced by his presence,
Even among lions, he distributes justice.

Their weapons and clothes were torn apart, becoming food for wolves and birds,
Many in this valley who relied on their own strength and might.
There is no doubt, the Prophet is the sharpest sword, among the swords of Allah,
Leading us towards eternal salvation, light, and guidance.
And his companions, those who embraced Islam in the valley of Mecca,
The most prominent of Quraysh, unmatched in generosity and bravery.
When migration was necessary in the early days, they migrated immediately, without a moment's hesitation,
Leaving behind their homes, their burning hearths, their possessions and wealth.
Those who remained were the ones who were unable to fight,
They, defenseless and unarmed, surrounded by disbelief, had prepared and awaited this day.
Yes, these are the bravest of the brave, who walk with heads held high,
Wearing the iron shirts, exclusive to David, as their armor.
Their armor is shiny and bright, made of elongated steel,
Its links intertwined like the rings of a split reed, fused together.
If their spears bring down the enemy, they know not pride,
If they are defeated, they know not despair, but they are never defeated!
Their movement is like that of white camels, both in defense and attack,
When struck, they are struck in their chests.
They do not fear, the vast and turbulent sea of death fears them.
