Seni seven, senin gibi olmalı.
Ve senin gibi sultânım, Allah'a kul olmalı.
Namaz, gözünün nuru...
Sen namaz için mihrâba yaklaşınca,
Yüz yirmi dört bin peygamber geçer sağına,
Solunda Ashâb-ı güzîn
Ve saf saf melekler...
Sonra milyonlarca veli
Edeple ardına geçer.
Müminler sıra sıra...
Canlı cansız tüm varlık...
Sen namazdasın
Ve kainat ardında...
Uzanır öpülesi ellerin.
O nurlu ellerin
Rahmân'ın dergâhına uzanır.
İsteyen sensin; veren Allah!
İste sen,
"Rabbin sana verecek ve sen hoşnut olacaksın."
Sen iste ki
Allah'a yakarışın yüreklerimizi yaksın
Sen iste ki,
Âlemler sesini sesine katsın;
"Ver, ne olur Allah'ım!
Habib'in ne istiyorsa bize de ver Allah'ım!"
Seni seven, senin gibi olmalı
Senin gibi sultanım, Yiğit olmalı
Hani geceydi, Medine'de bir geceydi,
Karanlığın bile kanını donduran
Bir ses duydu insanlar!
O sesin ürpertisini ancak duyanlar anlar.
Medine halkı korkuyla sokaklarda
Herkes sesin geldiği yöne doğru bakar da
Bir adım bile atamaz.
Ebubekir de atamaz
Ömer de Ali de...
Ve işte tam o an
Sen çıkarsın karanlıklardan
Sesin geldiği yerdesin
Beyaz bir atın üzerindesin
Boynunda kılıcın
Endişe edecek bir şey yok dersin
Sahabeye göre sen
Yiğit üstü yiğittin
Ali'ye göre sen yiğitler üstü yiğit
Öyle diyor velilerin babası
Savaşlarda Hazreti Peygamber kadar
Düşmana yaklaşan bir kimse bulunmazdı
Bir çok defa başımız sıkıntıya girince,
Ve dağılınca ordu bir adım bile gerilemezdi O
Atı düşmana yaklaşırken
O'nun sesi yükselirdi
Nereye kaçıyorsunuz!

Cömert olmalı
Sen halkın faydalanması için
Esip duran rüzgardan daha cömerttin
Dünyalık bir şey istense senden
Asla olmaz demezdin
Çünkü sen infakla emrolunmuştun
Yoksulluktan korkmazdın
Kim bilir kaç geceyi aç olarak geçirdin
İsteseydin dağlar yürürdü yanında
İsteseydin sana cennet sofraları açardı Hz. Meryem
Sen isteseydin
Ebu Talip'in sofrası gibi
Senin uzanmadığın yemeğe hiç kimse uzanmazdı
Senin oturmadığın sofralara
Oturmazdı hiç kimse
Ama sen kim bilir kaç gece
Açlığından uyuyamadın
Çünkü sen öylesine cömerttin
Bir gün Bilal'in evini şereflendirmiştin
Bilal odanın bir köşesinde hurma biriktirmişti
Bu nedir diye sormuştun ona
Hurmadır Ya Resulallah!
Senin misafirlerin için saklıyorum demişti.
Ve sen konuştun sonra
Öyle bir konuştun ki
Sesin dalga dalga, asırlara çarpa çarpa
Bilallere ulaştı
İnfak et Bilal, infak et!
Arşın Rabbi eksiltir diye korkma!
Sen cömert üstü cömerttin
Seni seven senin gibi olmalı
Senin gibi Sultanım
Ümmetine düşkün olmalı
Ümmeti diye doğdun
Kendi nefislerimizden bir Rasuldün
Günah işlememiz hep güç geldi sana
Bize pek düşkün
Mü'minlere karşı çok şefkatli ve merhametliydin.
Sadece mübarek nazarlarınla büyüyenlere değil
Sonradan gelecek ümmetini de düşündün
Ya Rasulallah!
Bir gün arkadaşlarını selamladığında buyurmuşsun:
Sizler şahit olun ki
Kıyamete kadar bana tabi olacak müminlere de selam!
Selamın geldi bize
Cana can katan selamın geldi
Ve şimdi bizden de sana selam
Selam senin üzerine olsun ey Allah'ın Habibi!
Selam senin üzerine olsun ey Allah'ın Rasulu!
Ve selam olsun Al ve Ashabına!

Sahabe seni gördü,
Seni sevdi ve yüceldi
Bizse seni sevenleri gördük
Adın anılınca yaşaran gözler gördük
Allah denilince sararan yüzler gördük
Tesellimiz bu oldu...
Ve asıl tesellimiz Ya Rasulallah
Sen ki bu kadar merhametlisin
Bu kadar cömertsin
Bu kadar düşkünsün bize
Ya seni yaratan Allah?
Seni merhametli yaratan Allah
Seni merhametle yaratan Allah
Nasıl merhametlidir?
Nasıl cömerttir?
Nasıl kullarına düşkündür?.

Like You

Someone who loves you should be like you.
And like you, my sultan, they should be a servant to Allah.
Prayer, the light of your eyes...
When you approach the mihrab for prayer,
One hundred twenty-four thousand prophets pass to your right,
On your left, the Companions of the Elite
And rows upon rows of angels...
Then millions of saints
Respectfully follow behind you.
Believers in rows...
All beings, living and non-living...
You are in prayer
And the universe behind you...
Your hands, worthy of kissing, reach out.
Those luminous hands
Extend towards the court of the Most Merciful.
You are the one who asks; Allah is the one who gives!
Ask,
"Your Lord will give to you, and you will be pleased."
Ask,
So that your supplication to Allah may burn our hearts
Ask,
So that the worlds may join their voices to yours;
"Give, please Allah!
Whatever the Beloved asks for, give it to us too, Allah!"
Someone who loves you should be like you,
Like you, my sultan, they should be brave
It was night, a night in Medina,
People heard a sound
That chilled even the blood of darkness!
Only those who felt its shiver can understand.
The people of Medina were on the streets in fear
Everyone looked towards the direction of the sound but
Couldn't take a single step.
Neither Abu Bakr nor
Omar nor Ali could...
And just at that moment
You emerged from the darkness
You were at the source of the sound
On a white horse
With your sword around your neck
You said there was nothing to worry about
To the Companions, you were
The bravest of the brave
To Ali, you were the bravest of all the brave
That's what the father of the saints says
In battles, no one would get as close
To the enemy as the Prophet
Many times when we were in trouble,
And the army scattered, He wouldn't retreat a single step
As He approached the enemy on His horse
His voice would rise
Where are you running!
I am the Messenger of Allah
I am Muhammad, son of Abdullah, son of Abdul-Muttalib
You were the bravest of the brave

Someone who loves you should be like you
And like you, my sultan,
They should be generous
For the benefit of the people,
You were more generous than the blowing wind
If someone asked you for something worldly,
You would never say no
Because you were commanded to give
You were not afraid of poverty
Who knows how many nights you spent hungry
If you wanted, mountains would move with you
If you wanted, Saint Mary would open the tables of heaven for you
If you wanted,
Like the table of Abu Talib,
No one would reach for the food you didn't reach for
At tables where you didn't sit,
No one would sit
But who knows how many nights
You couldn't sleep because of your hunger
Because you were so generous
One day you honored Bilal's house
Bilal had saved some dates in a corner of the room
You asked him what it was
It's dates, O Messenger of Allah!
He said I'm saving them for your guests.
And then you spoke
You spoke in such a way that
Your voice, wave after wave, echoing through the ages
Reached Bilals
Give, Bilal, give!
Don't be afraid that the Lord of the Throne will diminish!
You were the most generous of the generous
Someone who loves you should be like you
Like you, my Sultan,
They should be devoted to their community
You were born for the community
You were a Messenger from among ourselves
Our sins always troubled you
You were so devoted to us
You were very compassionate and merciful to the believers.
Not only those who grew under your blessed gaze
But you also thought of your community that would come later
O Messenger of Allah!
One day, when you greeted your companions, you said:
Be my witnesses that
I also greet the believers who will follow me until the Day of Judgment!
Your greeting reached us
Your life-giving greeting reached us
And now, greetings to you from us as well
Peace be upon you, O Beloved of Allah!
Peace be upon you, O Messenger of Allah!
And peace be upon your family and Companions!

The Companions saw you,
They loved and exalted you
We saw those who loved you
We saw eyes that welled up when your name was mentioned
We saw faces that turned pale when Allah was mentioned
This became our consolation...
And our true consolation, O Messenger of Allah
You who are so merciful
So generous
So devoted to us
What about Allah who created you?
Allah who created you with mercy
Allah who created you with compassion
How merciful is He?
How generous is He?
How devoted is He to His servants?.
