Dominus vobiscum! et cum spiritu tuo.
Sursum corda.
Habemus ad Dominum.
Gratias agimus Domino Deo nostro.
Dignum et justum est.
Vere dignum et justum est aequum et salutare,
Nos tibi semper et ubique gratias agere,
Domine sancte, Pater omnipotens,
Aeterne Deus,
Quia per incarnati Verbi mysterium,
Nova mentis nostrae oculis lux tuae claritatis infulsit;
Et dum visibiliter Deum cognoscimus,
Per hunc in invisibilium amorem rapiamur.
Et ideo cum Angelis et Archangelis,
Cum Tronis et Dominationibus, cumque omni milita caelestis exercitus,
Hymnum gloriae tuae canimus, sine fine dicentes

The Lord be with you! and with your spirit.
Lift up your hearts.
We lift them up to the Lord.
Let us give thanks unto the Lord our God.
It is meet and right so to do.
It is truly meet and just, right and available for salvation,
that we should ever and everywhere give thanks to you,
Holy Lord, Father Almighty,
Everlasting God,
because through the mystery of the incarnate Word,
the new light of your glory has shone upon the eyes of our mind;
and whereas we have known God visibly,
through him may we be drawn to love him invisibly.
And therefore with Angels and Archangels,
with Thrones and Dominions, and with all the army of the heavenly host,
we sing the hymn of your glory, evermore saying:
