Из края холода,
Под северным сводом небес,
Звучит мотив тоски,
По временам солнца и света.
Это птица полуночного часа,
Лебедь светлейших ночей,
И песня о её уходе,
Пока снег покрывает землю.
Самые яркие звезды во тьме,
Освещают сцену ночи,
На земле, так глубоко промерзшей,
Лежит птица с крыльями такими белыми.
Глаза, полные глубочайшей печали,
Бросают последний взгляд,
На пейзаж её королевства,
На сцену последнего танца.
Это танец, которому я когда-то научился,
Танец угасающего пламени,

Поднимут ли мои крылья меня еще раз
