Der Wecker klingelt jetzt bestimmt schon 4 Minuten.
Trotz Federbett kommts' mir vor wie in 'ner Tiefkühltruhe.
Das ist zu viel des Guten.
Ich dreh' die Heizung auf, obwohl es keinen Sinn macht, denn ich muss ja sowieso gleich schon raus.
Ich beeile mich, aber noch schnell unter die Dusche.
Stell' sie auf heiß und dennoch kommt erst nur eisiges Wasser.
Dann geht's ab nach draußen.
Renn' durch den prasselnden Regen, der auf mich einhämmert, wie all' die Gedanken an jene Prüfung, die ich gleich schreib'.
Dieser Nebel ist gleichzusetzen mit der Müdigkeit, die sich bei mir einschleicht.
Ich kann weder vor dem Wetter hier flüchten, noch vor dem Test.
Ich seh mein Spiegelbild in dreckigen Pfützen und ich bild' mir ein, dass mein Leben genauso den Bach runtergeht, wenn ich nicht langsam was unternehm'.
Ach du Scheiße!
Schnell!
Fast hät' ich's verplant in die Bahn einzusteigen.
Ich will in die Ferne schauen, doch seh' nur beschlagene Scheiben.
So undurchsichtig, wie meine Zukunftsvisionen.
Wird sich das Studium lohnen und eröffnen sich gute Optionen?
Führt mich eine Beziehung auf's Glatteis?
Ich steig' aus der Straßenbahn, geh' 'nen paar Meter und flieg' auf die Klappe.
Nein!
Was mag das bedeuten?
Ich seh' fade Fassaden, kahle Gebäude und noch kahlere Bäume.
Irgendwie fürchte ich mich.
Doch warscheinlich mach' ich wie Wind in der Wüste, viel Wirbel um nichts.

Die Vögel zwitschern hör' ich seit ein paar Minuten.
Trotz Jalousie wollen mich die Sonnenstrahlen fluten.
Was lässt sich da vermuten?
Ich mach' das Fenster auf und genieße die warme Brise.
Man ich will da endlich raus!
Ich beeile mich, aber geh' noch schnell unter die Dusche.
Stell' sie auf kalt und die Erfrischung ist einfach der Hammer.
Ab nach draußen und ich schlender der Sonne entgegen, die auf mich einstrahlt.
Ich denke das kommt mir gelegen, so wie meine Freizeit.
Das Ergebnis meiner Prüfung wird schon wie der Park im grünen Bereich sein.
Der Tag ist wie ein 5-blättriges Kleeblatt.
Er bringt Glück und ich seh' mein Spiegelbild im Brunnen am Wegrand.
Ich bild' mir ein, dass mein Leben genauso erfrischend verläuft, denn ich krieg' was ich mir erträum'.
Mir gehört die Welt!
Ich hab' den Bedarf in mein Auto zu steigen.
Die heiß laufenden Reifen wirbeln den Staub auf die Scheiben.
So schnell verwischt, wie meine Sorgen und Ängste.
Ich lerne vorwärts zu denken und ich werde bis morgen nicht bremsen.
Sag mal geht es noch besser?
Ich steig' aus dem Wagen aus und krieg' 'ne Nachricht von dem Mädchen von gestern.
Ja, so lässt es sich leben.
Statt weltbewegender Erlebnisse sind es kleine Momente die zählen.
Das Glück liegt in der Luft, ich atme tief ein und der Wirbel von gestern wird als Rückenwind benutzt, denn ich weiß:

That's What I Live For

The alarm clock has probably been ringing for 4 minutes now.
Despite the feather bed, it feels like I'm in a freezer.
This is too much of a good thing.
I turn up the heat, even though it makes no sense, because I have to go out soon anyway.
I hurry, but quickly take a shower.
I turn it on hot, but only ice-cold water comes out at first.
Then it's off outside.
I run through the pounding rain, which hammers down on me like all the thoughts about that exam I'm about to write.
This fog is equal to the tiredness that creeps up on me.
I can neither escape the weather here, nor the test.
I see my reflection in dirty puddles, and I imagine that my life is going down the drain just the same if I don't do something soon.

I almost missed getting on the train.
I want to look into the distance, but only see fogged windows.
As opaque as my visions of the future.
Will the studies pay off, and will good options open up?
Will a relationship lead me onto thin ice?
I get off the tram, walk a few meters, and fall flat on my face.

I see bland facades, bare buildings, and even barer trees.
