وجهان يبكيان

يبكياان. لاجل من تشردوا

Weeping for those who are displaced,

لاجل اطفال بلا منازل

For children without homes,

لاجل من دافع واستشهد في المداخن

For those who defended and were martyred in the alleyways,

واستشهد السلام في وطن السلام وسقط العدل على المداخن

And peace was martyred in the land of peace, and justice fell upon the alleyways,

حين هوت مدينة القدس تراجع الحب وفي قلوب الدنيا استوطنت الحرب

When the city of Jerusalem fell, love retreated, and war settled in the hearts of the world.

بجياد الرهبة آت

With horses of awe I come,

ولوجه الله الغامر

And for the sake of God's overwhelming presence,

لن يقفل باب مديتنا فانا ذاهبة لاصلي سأدق على الابواب وسأفتحها الابواب وستغسل يا نهر الاردن وجهي بمياه قدسيه وستمحو يا نهر الاردن آثار القدم الهمجيه

The door of our city will not be closed, for I am going to pray. I will knock on the doors and I will open them, and you, oh River Jordan, will wash my face with your holy waters, and you will erase, oh River Jordan, the traces of the barbaric footsteps.
