Adadama fi'ilmilahi sholaatan-

Lil abi wal ummi huquuqun wajibun-
Anta minal aana biha muthoolabun
In naadayaaka fasri'u mulabbiyan-
Wa aqbilu min khoothobaaka mushghiyan

My Dear Mother and Father

Dear God, I send prayers and peace upon
My Lord Muhammad and his kin
As many times as there is knowledge in God's knowledge
Everlasting prayers, as long as God's kingdom lasts

To my father and mother, their rights are obligatory,
You created me from them, therefore I must obey them.
If they call for me, I hasten to answer
And I accept their sermons with pleasure,
