As a bird carried by,
The vagrant winds.
No chains can hold me,
No key can lock me,
I seek my own kind,
And join with the wicked.
The heaviness of my heart,
Seems silly to the wicked.
Playfulness is delightful,
Sweeter than honey.
Whatever Venus commands,
Is sweet labor,
That never dwells in the hearts,
Of the ignorant masses.
I tread the wide path,
In the way of youth,
Trapped in vices,
Unmindful of virtue.
Hungry for pleasure,
More than salvation,
Dead in soul,
I tend only to my superficial self.
