Let all mortal flesh keep silence,

Ne pense à rien de terrestre,

Christ notre Dieu descend sur terre,

À ses pieds, le séraphin à six ailes,
Chérubin à l’œil sans sommeil,
Voilent leurs visages en sa présence,
Comme avec une voix incessante ils crient :

Alléluia, Seigneur Très Haut !
