Trokrilna vaga simbol Bosne i Balkana

Namjera mi je iskrena i zato sam miran

Vrijeme nek pokaze da li sam borio ili izdao
Dosta se trpi, u meni vrvi
Odlucio sam da pruzim ruku prvi

Prestanimo da se lazemo i varamo
Znam da te je strah kada hodas kroz Sarajevo
Vidis arapska slova, cujes ezan sa dzamije
I mene je strah kada vidim vehabije

I sad me je strah dok pisem ove redove
Reci ce da sam pljunuo na svoje zrtve i djedove
I vjerujem da cekas sa druge strane signal
Znam to dobro jer ga cekam i ja

Toliko imamo zajednickog ovog trena
Kad smo u gostima slazemo za imena
Osjecas se kao u Teheranu svinja
Isto kao i ja kad odem do Trebinja

Lakse je da se ne pretvaramo vise
Postalo je bitno kojih je u kom gradu vise
Sigurnost u vecini to nam prija
Hajra od toga nema, znas ti, znam i ja

Necu ti sad srat kako vas Dodik laze
Uzima lovu dok nacionalizmom oci maze
Nismo braca i jebes stare dane
Kad smo drugima isli na Bajrame i slave

Sve to brzo propade i sve to prodase
A braca se preko noci poklase
Necu da mjerimo zrtve i brojimo mrtve
Spaljene dzamije i srusene crkve

Nek izvoli ko voli
Ali ja necu manipulirati tudjom boli
Ja hocu da te saslusam i da pricamo
Jer ovako ne idemo nikamo

I kad cujes od mojih onu genocidan narod

Letter to Milan

The three-winged scales, a symbol of Bosnia and the Balkans,
Always tilting to my side, yours, or theirs,
Everyone uses it for their own gain,
They tell me, "Mind your own business, your own backyard."

We committed crimes, and then a big "but",
You did the same, burning and stealing,
For years, amongst our own people,
Never turning to each other, never a word put.

That's why, Milan, I'm writing this letter,
To show you where we stand, that we're not all the same,
My people will blame me, but this is my choice to claim,
My intention is pure, and that keeps my soul tame.

I wouldn't agree to their rules, not even today,
Time will tell if I fought or betrayed,
I've had enough, I'm boiling inside,
I decided to reach out first, with nothing to hide.

Let's stop lying and deceiving ourselves,
I know you're scared walking through Sarajevo,
Seeing Arabic script, hearing the call to prayer from the mosque,
And I'm scared too when I see the Wahhabis, their talk coarse.

And now I'm scared as I write these lines,
They'll say I spat on my victims and ancestors' shrines,
And I believe you're waiting for a sign on the other side,
I know it well, because I'm waiting too, with nowhere to hide.

We have so much in common right now,
When we're guests, we lie about our names, somehow,
You feel like a pig in Tehran, out of place,
Just like I do when I go to Trebinje, with a frown on my face.

It's easier not to pretend anymore,
It's become important who's the majority at each door,
Safety in numbers, that's what we crave,
But there's no good in it, you know, and I know, it's a grave.

I won't bullshit you about Dodik's lies,
He takes the money while blinding us with nationalism's guise,
We're not brothers, fuck the old days,
When we went to each other's Bajrams and Slavas, in a haze.

It all fell apart, sold down the river,
And brothers clashed overnight, a bitter sliver,
I don't want to measure victims or count the dead,
Burned mosques and destroyed churches, words left unsaid.

Let those who want to, indulge in this pain,
But I won't manipulate someone else's sorrow, it's insane,
I want to listen to you, and let's talk it through,
Because like this, we're going nowhere, it's true.

I know it's hard when they constantly accuse,
And when you hear "genocidal people" from my crew,
You're not like that, and I understand it's tough,
But know this, I don't think that way, enough is enough.
