Im schutz der dunkelheit geh ich noch an den strand
Mit einem kalten cigarillo in der hand
Das handtuch lässig um die schultern mir gehängt
Als plötzlich mich ein dringendes gefühl bedrängt
Ich pisch ins meer und denke mir dabei nicht viel
Auf einmal kommt da so ein guardia civil
Der sagt zu mir "aqui prohibido mear"
Was sovü heißt, daß brunzen dort verboten war
Ich sag darauf zu ihm "lo siento, muy señor"
Doch die entschuldigung war leider für die haar
Er hat mi brennen lassen, freundlich war des ned
Dann hab i'n g'fragt, ob er vielleicht a feuer hätt'
Drauf sagt er nur " aqui prohibido fumar"
Was ganz eindeutig ziemlich raucherfeindlich war
Doch dann hat er mich mitgenommen in a bar
Weu i hab eam erklärt; "yo soy de austria"
In dieser bar war'n lauter guardia civil
Die ham sich geben grad ein fußball-länderspiel
I bin daneben g'sessen und hab deppert g'schaut
Hab ma an aug'naht und mei ganzes geld verhaut
Weu die ham g'soffen - y la cuenta para mi
Mir war'n borrachos, oiso ang'straht, aber wie!
In meinem dusel wollt i heimfahr'n ohne göld
Doch für die guardia civil war ich der höld
Ich hab bei einem onkel von dem anan g'wohnt
Die schwester von dem andern hat mich schwer belohnt
Dem dritten seine mama hat paella kocht
So kann's am geh, wann ma wo hinbrunzt in der nacht
Seither fahr ich sehr oft nach andalusien
Und tu dort mit die schönsten weiber schmusien
I friss mi dick und rund und wann i neger bin
Geh i auf'd nacht am strand und brunz' ganz afoch hin
Dann kommt bestimmt ein so ein guardia civil
Der einen extranjero abkassieren will
I frag eam glei, ob er a hübsche schwester hat
Weu für a schiache is des pischen mir zu schad ...
Und wann er ja sagt, schnappt die falle wieder zu
I hack'l nix und mach nur ab und zu lulu
Als österreicher hast im ausland leichtes spiel
Es lebe hoch die ganze guardia civil

Under the cover of darkness, I walk along the beach,
A cold cigarillo in my hand within reach.
A towel hangs casually around my shoulders,
When suddenly a pressing feeling takes hold.
I take a leak into the sea, thinking nothing of it,
When lo and behold, a Guardia Civil shows up a bit.
He says to me, "Aqui prohibido mear",
Which means that peeing on the beach is a big no-no over here.
I apologize profusely, "Lo siento, muy señor",
But my excuses fall on deaf ears, much to my sore.
He gives me a ticket, a hefty fine,
Then I ask him for a light, just a little shine.
To that, he replies, "Aqui prohibido fumar",
A clear indication that smoking is not preferred out here.
But then he takes me to a bar,
Because I've told him, a little bit of a humdinger,
In this bar were nothing but Guardia Civil,
All watching a football match, their voices a thrill.
I sit beside them, looking on in a daze,
Gambling away my money, the result of my craze.
For they drank, and I paid the bill,
We were borrachos, drunk and having a thrill.
In my drunken stupor, I thought I'd skip out without paying,
But to the Guardia Civil, I was a hero, I was swaying.
I stayed with an uncle of one of them,
The sister of another gave me a night to remember, such a gem.
The mother of the third cooked me paella so fine,
Oh, the wonders of taking a leak in the night, divine.
Since then, I'm a regular visitor to Andalusia,
Flirting with the loveliest women, my heart in euphoria.
I eat and drink until I'm full, my belly so round,
And when I need to relieve myself, I go to the beach and let it out, profound.
Sure enough, a Guardia Civil will appear,
Hoping to catch a foreigner, their pockets to shear.
I'll ask them if they have a pretty sister,
Because for an ugly one, I'd never bother.
And if they say yes, the trap is set once more,
I'll do my business, then I'll be gone, as it was before.
As an Austrian abroad, life's a breeze,
