Gibt's nur Vernunft, oder gibt's auch das Verkehrte?
Wer wohnt denn nebenan im nächsten Haus?

Die Welt ist rauh und voller Dissonanzen
Die man genießen könnte, wär' man nicht gedrillt
Doch teilt man ein in Schlecht und Gut

Und lernt schön willig sein, anstatt gewillt
Man glaubt, was falsch ist, sei nicht wahr
Und lebt ein Oberlehrerjahr

Und wenn's dann immer nur Konzert gibt, anstatt Musik
Dann ist man eigentlich ganz froh
Und mit der Zeit kriegt man sogar ein bißchen Angst
Und denkt, bevor du was verlangst:
"Es geht auch so!"

Und wenn es manchmal ein Konzert gibt, anstatt Musik
Dann zeigt das immerhin Niveau
Man fühlt sich doch auf kurze Zeit konziliant
Und etwas menschlicher verbannt

Dann gibt's Musik, anstatt Konzerte
