Άμυαλοι που πέσαν στην φωτιά

φωλιά για να κουρνιάζει.

Δεν τους πρέπουν εικονίσματα
κεριά και καντηλέρια
τις χοές μας που και που στην γη
και τη ματιά στ' αστέρια.

Μέσα στης ζωής τον πανικό
ασίκικο χορό
χορεύουν οι ψυχές τους

Αχ! καρδούλα δώσ' μου δύναμη
να βρω κάποια στιγμή
κι εγώ τις αντοχές τους.

Saints

As if they were never born,
as if they were a lie
people who gave joy,
which reached even me.

Saints who will not be celebrated
because they will not be found
a day that fits.

Fools who fell into the fire
so that the dream
had a nest to nestle in.

They do not deserve icons
candles and lamps
our libations on the earth every now and then
and the gaze at the stars.

a love dance
their souls dance
