Non c'ero
Ero in vacanza

Non mi hanno interpellato

E no, perché io conto
Non me ne faccio un vanto
M'han detto che io conto e son contento
E anche se ogni tanto
Ho qualche cedimento
So già che sotto sotto son convinto

Un uomo medio

Hanno fatto il bilancio dello Stato
E si parla da un po′ di recessione

Cercando di frenare la disoccupazione

Hanno fatto il mercato globale
Che prevede uno scambio più efficace
E′ scoppiata la crisi nei Balcani
E dicon che hanno fatto la guerra per la pace

No, no, non dico che hanno fatto bene o hanno fatto male
Non mi permetterei mai
D'altronde sono loro che decidono e... basta distrarsi un attimo
Sì, sì, lo so che gli assenti hanno sempre torto
Ma non c′è stato un imbecille che ha detto
Che libertà è partecipazione?

E sì, perché io conto
Non me ne faccio un vanto
M'han detto che io conto e son contento
E sono sempre pronto
A fare il mio intervento
Son pronto su ogni tipo di argomento
Non odio e non invidio
E′ naturale
Sono un individuo
Però non sono certo un qualunquista
Né un frustrato pessimista
Credo nella pace e nella libertà
