Ti viene subito in mente l′ufficio, la banca, l'IVA, le bolle d′accompagnamento, insomma, è uno regolare
Se però, ai piedi, porta sandali afro-cubani, attenzione, può essere già un look
Ma a parte questo, c'è della gente che ha trovato un modo di portare la giacca
E la cravatta che non è così tipicizzante
Come fanno?

Io se mi metto la giacca e la cravatta, mi sento subito in banca
E se mi metto i sandali?
Sono un impiegato di banca coi sandali afro-cubani
Non c′è niente da fare per me vestirmi è diventato difficilissimo
Io vorrei vestirmi, normale ecco, il normale non c'è
Magari una maglia, un paio di pantaloni, appunto uno non ci bada, eh
C′è modo e modo di non badarci
Perché con una maglia targata Tacchini, sei un Tacchini
È una mania, targhette righe, taschini bordati, cervi, ochette, serpentelli, armadilli, coccodrillini
Normale non c'è

Magari per i pantaloni è più facile, beh si, di pantaloni ce n'è una gamma infinita no
Il jeans tutto sommato eh, però è un po′ troppo il jeans, coi jeans, uno si vede che ha i jeans, e o so
A me piacerebbero di quel tipo lì, però un po′ meno ecco, e poi la linea, il taglio
Larghi di culo, stretti di culo, alti di vita, bassi di vita, larghi di coscia
Corti di gamba, stretti, tutto schiacciato, stretti, stretti, a zampa!
Io ne vorrei un tipo normale, che come cominciano, finiscono
Non li fanno
Troppo stravaganti

Adesso, devo dire, ne fanno un tipo che quasi ci siamo, mi convince perché

Un bisogno di sentirsi, almeno in qualche cosa, unici
E′ come se avessimo la sensazione, di non avere più niente che ci distingua
La paura di essere tutti uguali, in tanti
E' il numero che ci spaventa
Ma forse, forse abbiamo creato ancora più confusione, la massa non è un fatto numerico
Si può essere milioni e milioni, anche simili, e non essere massa, rimanere persone
Io credo che questo sia possibile
E si può essere invece una persona sola che è già massa
Non è il numero, è la testa

Getting Dressed (prose)

I want to confess something to you, something true, by the way.
It's silly, but for some time now, I haven't known how to dress myself anymore.
I know it's not a problem, but it's an annoyance, a daily one.

Others say, "Oh, I don't really get dressed in the morning."
"I just grab whatever, as long as it's comfortable."
