چشم من به اونجا بود پشت اون كوه بلند
اما دست سرنوشت سر رام یه چاله كند

توی چاله افتادم خاك منو زندونی كرد
آسمونم نبارید اونم سرگرونی كرد
حالا یه مرداب شدم یه اسیر نیمه جون
یه طرف میرم تو خاك یه طرف به آسمون

خورشید از اون بالاها زمینم از این پایین
هی بخارم می كنن زندگیم شده همین
با چشام مردنمو دارم اینجا می بینم
سرنوشتم همینه من اسیر زمینم

هیچی باقی نیست ازم لحظه های آخره
خاك تشنه همینم داره همراش میبره
خشك میشم تموم میشم فردا كه خورشید میاد
شن جامو پر می كنه كه میاره دست باد

Quagmire

In the midst of a barren desert beneath the scorching sun,
An ancient marsh remains trapped, its solitude none can un.
I am that marsh, secluded from the world's embrace,
Scorched by the sun above, bound by the earth's relentless chase.

Once, I yearned to become a sea, vast and wide,
To conquer the world's oceans, the greatest tide.
My heart desired to reach the boundless deep,
To ignite the night and hasten the dawn's leap.

In my youth, a spring I was, beneath the ancient sky,
But fate's cruel hand led me to this desolate fry.
My gaze was set upon the distant mountain's height,
But destiny's decree cast me into a pit.

Into the abyss I fell, imprisoned by the soil,
The heavens withheld their tears, leaving me to toil.
Now, a stagnant marsh, a prisoner half-alive,
Caught between earth's embrace and the distant sky.

The sun above, the earth below, their relentless might,
Together, they evaporate my dreams, my plight.
Before my very eyes, my demise I behold,
Bound to this land, my fate forever told.

My essence fades, my time draws near its end,
The thirsty soil consumes me, an unrelenting fiend.
When tomorrow's sun ascends, I'll vanish without a trace,
My void filled by the sands, carried by the wind's embrace.
