Come, Creator Spirit,
be present in our minds;
fill us with heavenly grace,
you who have created our hearts.

You, called the Paraclete,
gift of God Most High,
fount of life, fire of love,
and spiritual anointing.

You who in your manifold gifts,
are God's finger to the right hand,
you who were promised by the Father,
put speech in our mouths.

Kindle our understanding,
pour love into our hearts,
strengthen with eternal power
our weak bodies.

Drive far from us the enemy;
quickly grant us peace;
with you as our guide
we may escape all evil.

Grant us through you to know the Father,
and to know the Son;
and to believe in you, the Spirit
of both forever.

Glory to God the Father,
and to the Son who rose from the dead,
and to the Holy Spirit,
for ever and ever. Amen.
