Rain

We sat for a long time watching the rain...
She showed me raindrops clinging to the electric wires,
Chasing each other.

I worried that the lightning current

She floated several paper boats in the water,
And let them flow away saying, We'll meet in the ocean...

And carry away these fragile banks.

Filling her mouth with rainwater,
She teased the half-full ponds.
She was so young, so innocent,
So naive.
Her footsteps on the cobblestones
Created melodies
That echoed through the streets.

And I, lost in contemplation of life...
Accompanied by experiences...,
Together with her
Flowed... walked... drifted
