تویی که تکیدی منم که شکستم

منم که نگفتی اسیر ملالم
بهار سکوتم خزان خیالم

منم که نگفتی چگونه بخوانم

چگونه نشستی در آن شب ماتم

You passed by, leaving me sitting

It's me who said nothing, trapped in my sadness
My silent spring, my winter of imagination

It's me who didn't say how to sing

How could you sit on that mournful night
In constant grief, in never-ending sorrow

You passed by and said: We are two halves of an apple
