Tôi đã viết lời bài hát này trong một chuyến du lịch đến Đà Lạt cách đây tròn mười năm
Tất cả bắt đầu từ câu đố của người hướng dẫn viên du lịch
Anh ta hỏi mọi người rằng
"Có ai trả lời được khi vừa mới biết thế nào là yêu, người ta sẽ trao nhau hoa gì không?"
Không ai có thể đáp lời
Anh hướng dẫn viên nói tiếp
"Đó là hoa liễu ơ, đọc lái lại là hoa lỡ yêu"
Lúc này mọi người mới hiểu hoa liễu ơ chính là cách nói ví von dễ thương của một tình yêu đầu đời
Và đó cũng là ca khúc đầu tiên tôi viết lời được ra mắt khán giả
Khởi đầu cho hành trình âm nhạc đầy cảm xúc mà tôi chắt chiu từng ngày, từng ngày một
Vì vậy đối tôi, "Hoa liễu ơ" là ca khúc mà tôi rất yêu mến, không bao giờ tôi quên được

I'm afraid that if I confess my love now
It will shatter the petals of these poetic days

So I can forever keep this fragile flower

Through each passing day and month, I hold onto hope
That one day you'll hold my hand and say
That you've also nurtured a beautiful flower in your heart, just like me

I wrote the lyrics to this song during a trip to Da Lat exactly ten years ago.
It all started with a riddle from the tour guide.
He asked everyone,
"Can anyone tell me what flower people give each other when they've just discovered what love is?"
No one could answer.
The tour guide continued,
"It's a willow flower, a wordplay on 'lỡ yêu' (accidentally in love)."
At that moment, everyone understood that the willow flower was a cute metaphor for first love.
And this was also the first song I wrote that was released to the public.
It marked the beginning of my emotional musical journey, which I cherish every single day.
So, for me, "Willow Flower" is a song that I love very much, one I'll never forget.
