MY BELOVED HASAN DURSUN

I have immersed myself in deep thought,
Uttering words of praise and gratitude,
With divine blessings and love,
Let us begin with the sacred remembrance of God.
Strike the tambourine and proclaim, "Allah!"
May it pierce my body and soul.
In the assembly of saints,
May Dervish Hakkı lead us in zikir.
My fez bears the inscription,
"Allah" and "Muhammad" in green.
My master's image fills my mind,
And my heart aches with longing.
