Shalouma, where is the sweetness from the day that has tired me,
That has deprived me of sleep, my eye is in its seventh sleep,
I long for him and I am not patient, my love for him is ablaze like fire,
I am staying up all night and he has left me perplexed and I count the stars,
My soul yearns for him, he has tormented me today forever and my eyes
Want to see him, why am I deprived of him,
He does not realize his dreams, and I burn before him and my night
Will never end, it has increased my worries,
I wish he would understand me, he only makes me sad, I need him,
I want him to ask about me, I do not blame him or reproach him,
