Dịu dàng em ươm tơ
Bước vào tới cổng nhà, bên hiên mẹ tựa cửa

I have just arrived at the village entrance, the banyan tree welcomes me with its sprawling branches
Providing shade for my weary feet

I have just arrived at the rice field, golden rice stalks heavy with grain
The sweet fragrance of the countryside fills the air
I have just arrived at the village temple, a yellowhammer calls out
Like your voice greeting me

Returning home, emotions stir within me
Returning home to quench our longing for each other
A visit to my hometown
My heart overflows with joy
Sweet words of love, I will cherish them forever

At noon I arrive at the familiar path, waiting beside the betel nut trees
You gently tend to the silkworms
I step through the gate, Mother sits by the door
Anticipating my arrival since noon
