Autumn Morning

When I hear the little birds singing in the early morning
I always wake up regretfully, as I have always done
A window is full of dazzling sunshine
I wonder if I should sneeze from the cold
Rubbing my eyes, I peek out the window
Children are chatting and going to school
In the hands of my father who has been walking
is a full bottle of herbal tea which is of unknown effectiveness
The busyness of my mother making breakfast
And the laziness of my son searching for cold water
Are mixed with the refreshing and clean fragrance of the morning
And the savory smell of rice cooking
The autumn morning is truly a great joy to me
The autumn morning is truly a great happiness to me
For me who has only complained
I take a deep breath, looking at the blue sky
My heart becomes at ease like the high sky
When did the empty sky come? A lone dragonfly
Half-awake, it clumsily flies around
The busyness of my mother washing clothes
And the leisure of my son playing the guitar
Are mixed with the constant sound of the grandfather clock
And the noisy cries of my nephews
