Whore was the song in the studio, we're like "
Whore", no way is that name sticking.
And the more I thought about it, and the more we really got deep into that song, and we knew it was a special track.
Everyone knew right away when we listened back to it, everybody was like, wait slow down.
We were totally like, we probably listened to it 4 times.
It's a special song, it just needed, the song is about, i mean it's completely the opposite of what it is.
Like, people are like "
Whore", you know 'cause it's our next single, and people are like radio's gonna fight you, and this is gonna be really hard.
But that song is like a super empowering song.
That is like a woman with her chest out and head up and she's proud and that's what that song really is.
It symbolizes like, you know I think not just women, everybody, how we you know you have experiences in your life and we go through things and we know who we are and finding out how powerful we are, how strong we are.
And that when somebody else tries to pull you into their, you know, hell or degrade you or belittle you, or attack you, whatever it is, that's thier perception.
It really has nothing to do with you.
If you know who you are and you know what you exude, you know, then that won't matter to you.
So, it's kind of a sarcastic, like, that's right baby, I'll be your f***ing whore.
Cause it's saying, you know, your words, it doesn't do anything to me.
It's a strong song.
And I definitely do want people to understand that and know that.
And it's unapologetic.
It's basically saying I know who I am, I'm proud of who I am.
You know, do what you want, say what you want, but you can't take anything from me.

Interview 'Putain'

Putain était le titre de la chanson en studio, on s'est dit "
Putain", pas question que ce nom reste.
Plus j'y pensais, et plus on se plongeait vraiment dans cette chanson, et on savait que c'était un morceau spécial.
Tout le monde l'a su tout de suite quand on l'a écoutée, tout le monde disait, attends, ralenti.
On était complètement comme, on l'a probablement écoutée 4 fois.
C'est une chanson spéciale, elle avait juste besoin, la chanson parle de, je veux dire, c'est complètement l'opposé de ce qu'elle est.
Genre, les gens sont comme "
Putain", tu sais parce que c'est notre prochain single, et les gens sont comme la radio va se battre contre toi, et ça va être vraiment dur.
Mais cette chanson est comme une chanson super émancipatrice.
C'est comme une femme qui a la poitrine bombée, la tête haute et elle est fière et c'est ce que cette chanson est vraiment.
Elle symbolise, tu sais, je pense pas seulement les femmes, tout le monde, comment tu sais tu as des expériences dans ta vie et on traverse des choses et on sait qui on est et on découvre combien on est puissant, combien on est fort.
Et que quand quelqu'un d'autre essaie de te tirer dans son, tu sais, enfer ou de te rabaisser ou de te rabaisser, ou de t'attaquer, quoi que ce soit, c'est leur perception.
Ça n'a vraiment rien à voir avec toi.
Si tu sais qui tu es et tu sais ce que tu dégages, tu sais, alors ça ne t'affectera pas.
Donc, c'est un peu sarcastique, genre, c'est ça bébé, je serai ta putain.
Parce que ça veut dire, tu sais, tes paroles, ça ne me fait rien.
C'est une chanson forte.
Et je veux vraiment que les gens comprennent ça et le sachent.
Et c'est sans complexe.
C'est en gros dire que je sais qui je suis, je suis fière de qui je suis.
Tu sais, fais ce que tu veux, dis ce que tu veux, mais tu ne peux rien me prendre.
