Nechali je tam rolníci,

Ke zvěrolékaři utíkal.
Doktor ho proklepal změřil tlak,
Vypumpoval z něj igelit,
Než půjde vrabčák na vojnu,
Bude už dávno zdráv a fit.

The sparrows peck at plastic bags,
The plastic bags the farmers left,
Their snacks inside, so freshly wrapped,
A fragrant scent the air has cleft.

Some barely hanging by a thread.
It happened to me yesterday,
I was leaving from my love's embrace,
A sparrow, pale as any ghost,
Staggered towards me through the space.
