Jak chronić źródło, by nie wyschło

Nikt nigdy ich już nie obudzi

It's folly to live among the wise
Who've fathomed everything to the end
And make no effort to comprehend
What they have not yet apprehended

Familiar with the Principle and the Mechanism
Absorbed in the Music of the Spheres
They eternally float above us
Like zeros on a moving map

We must strike them on their ears
To make them listen to the living fate

But the awakening is short-lived
Before they return to their omniscient dream
And from their palaces, stones
They hurl upon our heads in broad daylight

Though they know everything, they know nothing
Of how ordinary bread is baked
How to protect a spring so it won't run dry
How to mend a roof so it won't leak

No one will ever awaken them
Laughter and curses come to my lips.
It's folly to live among the wise
With their beautiful Floating Island
