He was pierced and crushed to that cross
Because of my sin
I see I caused all that damage
How did he manage?
Centuries before through Isaiah he said
"who has believed our message?"

"What goes around comes around"

He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him
Nothing in his appearance that we should desire him

A man of suffering familiar with all pain
Like one from whom people hide their faces
He was despised and we held him in low esteem
Yet he took our places

Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering
Yet we considered him punished by God
Stricken by him and afflicted
Our sin were the nails in his hands
He was innocent but paid like a wicked

He was pierced for our transgressions
He was crushed for our iniquities
For us he appealed
The punishment that brought us peace was on him
And by his wounds we are healed

Yeah
We all, like sheep, have gone astray
Each of us has turned to our own way
And the Lord on him has laid
The iniquity of us all
That's why salvation is today

He was oppressed and afflicted
Yet he did not open his mouth
He was led like a lamb to the slaughter
And as a sheep before its shearers is silent
So he did not open his mouth even though they were violent

By oppression and judgment he was taken away
Yet who of his generation protested?
None of them
For he was cut off from the land of the living
For the transgressions of my people
He was punished and stopped breathing

With the wicked He was assigned a grave
And with the rich in his death
Though he had done no violence
Nor was any deceit in his mouth
He got bitten up and he still died for them

Yet it was the Lord's will
To crush him and cause him to suffer and though
The Lord makes an offering his life for sin
He will see his offspring and prolong his days
The will of the Lord will prosper his hand
After he has suffered
He will see the light of life and be satisfied
By his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many
He will bear their iniquities that are heavy

Therefore I will give him a portion among the great
And he will divide the spoils with the strong
Because he poured out his life unto death
And was numbered with the transgressors in the flesh

For he bore the sin of many
And made intercession for the transgressors

That even though we were dead in sin

Он был невинен, но заплатил, как злодей

Он изъязвлен был за преступления наши
Растоптан за беззакония наши
За нас Он взывал
Наказание мира нашего было на Нём
И ранами Его исцелены мы

Да
Все мы, как овцы, блуждали
Каждый на свой путь свернул
И Господь возложил на Него
Беззакония всех нас
Вот почему спасение сегодня

Он был угнетён и страдал
Но не открыл уст Своих
Как агнец ведён был Он на заклание
И как овца пред стригущими её безгласна
Так и Он не отверз уст, хоть были жестоки они

От уз и суда Он был отнят
Но кто из рода Его возроптал?
Никто
Ибо Он отторгнут от земли живых
За преступления народа моего
Наказан был Он, и дышать перестал

С нечестивыми причтен был к могиле
Но с богатым в смерти Своей
Хотя не совершил Он насилия
И не было лжи в устах Его
Он был избит и всё же умер за них

Но Господу угодно было
Сокрушить Его, заставить страдать и хотя
Господь приносит в жертву жизнь Его за грех
Он узрит потомство, дни продлит Свои
Воля Господня успешно свершится рукой Его
После страданий Своих
Он узрит свет жизни и будет доволен
Познанием Его Праведник, Раб Мой, оправдает многих
Он понесёт беззакония их, что тяжки

Посему дам Я Ему долю между великими
И с сильными разделит Он добычу
Ибо предал душу Свою на смерть
И к злодеям причтён был во плоти

Он понёс грех многих
И ходатайствовал за преступников
