Romans 8

There is therefore no condemnation
For those who are in Christ Jesus
For the law of the Spirit of life has set you
Free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death

For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do
By sending his own Son
In the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin
He condemned sin in flesh
In order that the righteous need
Of the law might be fulfilled

In us who walk not according to the flesh
But according to his Spirit
For those who live according to the flesh
Set their minds on the things of the flesh
But those who live according to the Spirit
Set their minds on the things of His
For to set the mind on the flesh is death
But to set it on the Spirit is life

Life and peace
For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God
For it does not submit to God's law
Indeed it cannot do right

Those who are in the flesh cannot please God
You however are not in the flesh
But in the Spirit
If in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you
Then you have the Spirit of Christ

In us who walk not according to the flesh
But according to his Spirit
For those who live according to the flesh
Set their minds on the things of the flesh
But those who live according to the Spirit
Set their minds on the things of His
For to set the mind on the flesh is death
But to set it on the Spirit is life

Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ
Does not belong to him
But if Christ is in you
Altough the body is dead because of sin
The Spirit is life because of righteousness
If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you
He who raised Jesus Christ from the dead will also give you life
To your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you
Yeah, yeah, Christ Jesus will give you
Will give you life
Then you have the Spirit of Christ

Darum gibt es jetzt keine Verdammnis
Für die, welche in Christus Jesus sind
Denn das Gesetz des Geistes des Lebens hat dich
In Christus Jesus frei gemacht vom Gesetz der Sünde und des Todes

Denn was dem Gesetz unmöglich war, weil es durch das Fleisch geschwächt wurde
Das tat Gott, indem er seinen eigenen Sohn sandte
In der Gleichgestalt des sündigen Fleisches und um der Sünde willen
Verurteilte er die Sünde im Fleisch
Damit die gerechte Forderung
Des Gesetzes erfüllt würde

In uns, die wir nicht nach dem Fleisch wandeln
Sondern nach seinem Geist
Denn die, die nach dem Fleisch leben
Sinnen auf das, was des Fleisches ist
Die aber, die nach dem Geist leben
Sinnen auf das, was sein ist
Denn das Sinnes des Fleisches ist Tod
Das Sinnes des Geistes aber Leben

Leben und Frieden
Denn das fleischliche Gesinntsein ist Feindschaft gegen Gott
Weil es dem Gesetz Gottes nicht untertan ist
Denn es vermag es auch nicht

Die, die im Fleisch sind, können Gott nicht gefallen
Du aber bist nicht im Fleisch
Sondern im Geist
Wenn wirklich Gottes Geist in dir wohnt
Dann hast du den Geist Christi

In uns, die wir nicht nach dem Fleisch wandeln
Sondern nach seinem Geist
Denn die, die nach dem Fleisch leben
Sinnen auf das, was des Fleisches ist
Die aber, die nach dem Geist leben
Sinnen auf das, was sein ist
Denn das Sinnes des Fleisches ist Tod
Das Sinnes des Geistes aber Leben

Wenn jemand Christi Geist nicht hat
Der gehört nicht zu ihm
Wenn aber Christus in dir ist
So ist der Leib zwar tot um der Sünde willen
Der Geist aber Leben um der Gerechtigkeit willen
Wenn der Geist dessen, der Jesus von den Toten auferweckt hat, in dir wohnt
Wird der, der Christus Jesus von den Toten auferweckt hat
Auch deine sterblichen Leiber lebendig machen durch seinen Geist, der in dir wohnt
Ja, ja, Christus Jesus wird dir geben
Wird dir Leben geben
Dann hast du den Geist Christi

In uns, die wir nicht nach dem Fleisch wandeln
Sondern nach seinem Geist
Denn die, die nach dem Fleisch leben
