Por su gran prosperidad
Decidió la autoridad
De Villatripas de Arriba
-¡que viva el alcalde, viva!-
Erigir un monumento
Un auténtico portento
Que a los de Abajo asombrara
Una escultura bien cara
Como dijo el pregonero:
"Que costará su dinero
Pues de mármol alabastro
De nuestro rico catastro
La montará un escultor
En plena Plaza Mayor."
Y terminaba el pregón:
"¡será una gran erección!."

Se gastó mucha saliva
En Villatripas de Arriba
La gente andaba tan fatua
Con la cosa de la estatua
Y había gran emoción
Cuando la inauguración.
La alcaldesa con premura
Corrió el velo a la escultura
Y apareció ante la villa
La supuesta maravilla:
Saliendo de entre las aguas
Sin siquiera unas enaguas
Toda, toda, desnudita,
Una Venus Afrodita.
La erección no estuvo mal,
Satisfizo al personal.

Tenía el pueblo de al lado
El ánimo muy picado
Y allá habló el señor alcalde:
"¡Erigiremos de balde!
En Villatripas de Abajo
Se suple con desparpajo
Por parte del vecindario
La falta de monetario.
¡Vecinos de este lugar,
Hay que vencer o ganar!
¿Estáis dispuestos a todo
Por sacudiros el lodo
De esa Venus Afro... leches?"
"¡Alcalde, lo que nos eches!"
Respondió la población
Con una gran ovación.

Cogieron a la Jacinta
La moza de mejor pinta
Y en la misma plazoleta
La pusieron en porreta
Y la echaron al pilón
Sin mayor vacilación.
Luego fue una comitiva
A Villatripas de Arriba
A decirles que bajaran,
Miraran y compararan:
"Comparando las dos Venus,
¿Cuál es más y cuál es menos?"
Excepto algún poetastro
Que alabó a la de alabastro
Y el pelma de Don Simón
Que de un vuelo fue al pilón se oyó gritar a compás:
"¡La Jacinta mucho más!"

Y con grandiosa vehemencia
Añadió la concurrencia
-Sobre todo los varones-
Que en lo tocante a erecciones,
La Jacinta en el pilón...
Matarilerilerón.
