Denn ich bin nicht DJ BOBO oder irgend so ein Flop
Nein ich sage was ich will und zwar mit Hip Hop
Manchmal hart oder zart - mal mit Ruhe oder Stress
Mal mit Beat Box - oder einfach mit Jazz!
Hip Hop und Jazz ist 'ne coole Kreation
Zieh's Dir rein mein Sohn ich stell sie auf den Thron
Der Rhythmus ist nicht gesampelt und der Beat ist nicht geklaut
Denn Jazz Musik wird immer noch von Menschen aufgebaut
Guck da sitzt wer an dem Schlagzeug und da spielt wer Saxophon
Das einzig elektronische ist nur das Mikrophon
Darum mache ich die Musik, sie stirbt nie aus
Ich hole einmal Luft und lass' die Reime einfach raus
Mal mit Hass und Gewalt - mal warm oder kalt

And you say that's what you call art
How you ruin this beat with your spoken word, tearing it apart
You'd prefer a voice that sings a little to it?
Let me tell you something - your opinion, man, it stinks, I'll admit
Because I'm not DJ BOBO or some kind of flop
No, I say what I want and I do it with Hip Hop
Sometimes hard or soft - sometimes with calm or stress
Sometimes with beatbox - or simply with Jazz!
Hip Hop and Jazz is a cool creation

The rhythm isn't sampled and the beat isn't stolen
Because Jazz music is still built by people, that's golden
Look, there's someone sitting at the drums and there's someone playing saxophone
The only thing electronic is just the microphone
That's why I make the music, it never dies
