「虐めないでよ」って泣いてばっかり
震えちゃうのも仕方ないのです
孤独を敏感に恐れている
少年の僕を『勇気』は嫌った
同じように雨に濡れている
子犬に理解を求めていた
自分勝手に抱き寄せていた
「君は僕を虐めないよね？」って言って
「『友達』になろう。言葉じゃないところでさ。
話がしたいよなぁ」
そんな僕に 悲劇が待ってた
聞こえたんだ 声が盛大に
閉ざした脳を ノックする
「あいつは汚い」「そいつを騙そう」
「大嫌い」「死んじゃえよ」
なんて
『思いの声』が一斉に
拒んでいたってノックする
言葉にしない心が 突き刺さって
もう泣きそう
「希望を願った罰だ」って
孤独網の騒音は
僕にこんな代償を
植え込んでいた
そして今日も声は責め立てる
流れ込んで 僕を溶かしていく
他人の 心理を盗み取れる
面妖な僕を 誰もが嫌った
逃げ出そうと 外へ飛び出せ
ここじゃもう 息もできないから
街の憎悪の 目を避けてさ
僕はそっと 駆け出した 何処かへと
迷い込む森
行き場のない静けさに
また怯えちゃう様な
そんな僕を 誰かが待っていた
聞こえたんだ
「今日も淡々と 描いた『今日』を待ってるの。
誰かお願い ここから助け出してよ 寂しいよ」なんて
『思いの声』は逡巡な
昨日の僕の様なんだ
「『心』が怖い？」
「明日を変える『勇気』も足りない？」
「そんなことない」とノックした
物語は繊細で
僕はそっと慎重に開いていた
踞った少女は言った
「昨日も、今日も、一昨日も
広い世界が簡単に崩れちゃう
夢を見ていた」
「怖いよ」なんて感情も
「辛いよ」なんて泣き声だって
絵本みたいに、救い出してしまえたなら？
芽生えた今日の感情を
絞った声で ノックして
君に話そう
「それでも、大丈夫だよ。泣かないでよ」って
『思いの声』の心臓を
包んで笑い合えたなら
『心を救う心』を
僕は『勇気』と呼べそう
進み始めた毎日の僕は今日も平凡で
ドアの外の声は もう聞こえない

Brave Boy

“Please don't bully me,” you cry all the time,
It's no wonder you tremble,
You fear loneliness with sensitivity,
“Courage” hated me, the boy I was,
Like us, getting drenched in the rain,
You sought understanding from a puppy,
Holding it in your arms as you pleased,
Saying, “You won't bully me, right?”
“Let's be ‘friends’. Not through words, but in another way,
I want to talk, you know.”
That's when it happened, a tragedy struck,
I heard the voices loud and clear,
Knocking on my closed mind,
“That one is dirty,” “Let's trick it,”
“I hate it,” “Die already.”

‘Voices of thought’ all at once,
They insist on knocking even when I resist,
Words unspoken pierce through me,
I'm on the verge of tears,
They said, “This is the punishment for wishing for hope,”
The cacophony of loneliness,
Imposed such a price,
Implanted in me,
And the voices continue their assault,
Invading me, eroding my being,
I can steal others' thoughts,
This creepy ability turned everyone off,
Let's run away, let's get out of here,
I can't breathe anymore,
Avoiding the hateful stares,
I ran quietly, heading somewhere,
Lost in the woods,
The tranquility, a place with nowhere to go,
Where I might shrink again,
Someone was waiting for me there,
I heard it,
“I keep waiting for ‘today’ I painted, day after day,
Someone please, save me from this loneliness, it's so sad,”
The ‘voice of thought’ is hesitant,
Like me yesterday,
“Are you scared of your ‘heart’?”
“Don't you have the ‘courage’ to change tomorrow?”
It knocked, saying, “That's not true.”
The story is delicate,
I opened it carefully,
The girl squatting down said,
“Yesterday, today, and the day before,
The vast world could collapse so easily,
I was dreaming.”
Even the feeling of “being scared,”
Even the cries of “it's painful,”
If only I could save them like in a picture book,
The emotions that budded today,
I'll knock with a strained voice,
And tell it to you,
“It's okay, even so. Please don't cry.”
If I could wrap the heart of the ‘voice of thought’,
And share laughter,
The ‘heart that saves hearts’,
I could call it ‘courage’,
The ordinary me, who began to walk every day, remains,
The voices outside the door have vanished,
