I fan titelles i parlen com parlen els grans

Se'n va la calma i ve la tempesta
I en obrir els ulls torna el malson
I amb el regust sota la llengua decideix
Que no vol tornar a despertar

La silueta davant del llac
Calçat amb botes, barret al cap
Es va endinsant sense dubtar
Es va enfonsant sense nedar
Tampoc ningú no el ve a frenar
Tampoc ningú mai ho sabrà
Ja no se'l veu i aquell barret
Sura tot sol cap al sud-est

I ara és un ós polar amb anorac

Too many times he's made himself old
Dining alone in the dining-room
Without a cake or a song
Or a very simple drawing
Of those that his son made

The coldness of the lake remained with him
And he lives locked up in the past

And he goes swimming out of the lake
