Achter Januar, zweitausendundzwei
Liebes Tagebuch, ich schreibe dies in der Hoffnung,
dass das Universum mich endlich mit offenen Armen empfangen wird.
Oh Widerstand, wie lange wirst du noch andauern?
Widerstand, wie viele Tränen musst du noch hervorrufen?
Aber wisse dies, nicht jede Träne, die meine Wange zierte, war
eine Träne der Konfrontation, sondern manche waren Tränen der Freude.
Also an diesem achten Tag des neuen Jahres, 3:41 Uhr Central Time,
stehe ich zuversichtlich, Oh mein Gott großer Güte,
Ist es vielleicht möglich, dass ich halbwegs intelligente
Texte schreiben und Musik machen kann, die den Leuten vielleicht gefallen könnte?
Ist das möglich?
Ist es möglich, dass das, was ich tue, das ist, was ich wirklich tun will,
und nicht das Ergebnis davon, mich verkauft zu haben? Heh
