Es war die Nacht vor Weihnachten und alles war ganz still.
Also dachte ich, ich mache einen kleinen Spaziergang am Heiligabend.
Ich ging gerade die Straße runter, als ich zu meiner Überraschung diesen
winzig kleinen Kerl sah, mit großen alten Tränen in den Augen.
Ich konnte sehen, dass er vor diesem Musikladen stand und ziemlich
niedergeschlagen aussah. Ich konnte hören, was er sagte; er wusste nicht, dass ich
in der Nähe war... er sagte:

Damit ich das Ding spielen kann

Hahaha. Also ging ich zu ihm rüber, denn ich verstehe das, weißt du.
Ich, ich dachte, ich muntere ihn auf, also sagte ich: 'Hör mal zu, kleiner Mann,
Du willst doch keine Rock 'n' Roll Gitarre, du willst einen Sechsschüsser wie
der Lone Ranger ihn hat, damit du rumlaufen und 'Hi-Yo Silver,
Kimosabe' und all diesen Cowboy-Kram rufen kannst.'
Oder wie wär's, wenn der alte Weihnachtsmann dir einen kleinen Muldenkipper bringt,
damit du herumfahren und Sachen abladen kannst?
Und er sagte...
'Mann, ich will keinen Muldenkipper, ich will was, das swingt.'
