In Old Quebec, there's a kid playing guitar

Looking in his hat to see how much he's made

A group of Japanese tourists
Come to take his picture
But never a word
Not even an arigato
But it doesn't bother him
He's not disheartened
Some young girls from Ontario
Laugh and give him the eye

Between a motionless mime
A washed-up old painter
