So one time I had a concert I had to do in Seattle
So I had to fly from Iowa City to Denver
From Denver to Phoenix
And from Phoenix to Seattle
Um to make the long story short
I end up getting at Denver
Thought I got to my gate
I had a two hour layover so I'm sitting chilly
Two hours later they're starting calling people aboard
I walk up, hand the dude my ticket and he like
You at the wrong gate
So I'm mad, I start running trying to make it to the other gate
And never the less I ended up missing my flight
And I could remember being frustrated and mad
I asked god like why the heck did you allow this to happen man?
But they ended up getting me a flight that flew me directly to Seattle
Which was cool cause by the time I ended getting to Seattle
I walked in a venue and I literarily walked on stage eight minutes after I walked into the venue
But what was the amazing thing was
The next day we found out that
Had I gone on that flight going to Phoenix
I would've never made it to Seattle
Because the flight going from Phoenix to Seattle got canceled
And it just reminded me how god was sovereignly at work behind the scenes
So though this was a pain I caused because I walked to the wrong gate
It was god who was sovereignly and just using it for my own growth
God solving really worked man
It's a growing pain

G.P. (Interlude 2)

Alors, une fois, j'avais un concert à Seattle auquel je devais participer
Donc, j'ai dû prendre l'avion d'Iowa City à Denver
De Denver à Phoenix
Et de Phoenix à Seattle
Pour faire court
Je me retrouve à Denver
Je pensais être arrivé à ma porte d'embarquement
J'avais deux heures d'escale, donc je me suis assis tranquillement
Deux heures plus tard, ils ont commencé à appeler les gens à bord
Je me lève, je donne mon billet au gars et il me dit
Tu es à la mauvaise porte
Je suis en colère, je commence à courir pour essayer d'arriver à l'autre porte
Et malgré tout, j'ai raté mon vol
Et je me souviens d'avoir été frustré et en colère
J'ai demandé à Dieu, pourquoi as-tu laissé ça arriver ?
Mais ils ont fini par me trouver un vol qui m'a emmené directement à Seattle
Ce qui était cool, car quand je suis arrivé à Seattle
Je suis entré dans le lieu et j'ai littéralement monté sur scène huit minutes après être entré
Mais le plus étonnant, c'est
Le lendemain, nous avons appris que
Si j'avais pris ce vol pour Phoenix
Je ne serais jamais arrivé à Seattle
Parce que le vol de Phoenix à Seattle a été annulé
Et ça m'a juste rappelé que Dieu était souverainement à l'œuvre dans les coulisses
Donc, même si ça a été une douleur que j'ai causée en allant à la mauvaise porte
C'était Dieu qui était souverainement et simplement en train de l'utiliser pour ma propre croissance
La solution de Dieu a vraiment marché, mon cher
C'est une douleur de croissance
