Assassinos perigosos já vieram me matar
Deus me livrou e o escrivão me garantiu

Eu aceitei jesus quando vieste aqui pregar,
De lá pra cá, foram só bençãos mil, mas
O senhor sumiu e eu não pude te contar!
Olha pastor uma noite veio um homem,
Com as mãos furadas aqui na grade me acordar
Dizendo filho eu ouvi o seu clamor,
O meu pai te perdoou e daí vai te tirar!

Olha pastor, lá do portão do presidío pode me levar pra igreja,
Pode me por pra trabalhar,
Varrer o templo, limpar banco, encher os filtros,
Abrir cultos com corinho,
E até folhetos espalhar, aquela bíblia que me deste de presente,
Eu passo o dia meditando eu acho que eu já sei pregar,
Se houver também uma solteirona,
Fala que eu estou transformado que eu também quero casar!
E o meu último pedido eu vou fazer,
Nesta carta pode ler, antes de eu descansar,
Que me leves para um rio ou um riacho,
