Swim! Taiyaki-kun

Every day, every day, we are on a griddle,
Being baked, it's driving me crazy.
One morning, I had a fight with the shop owner,
And I ran away into the sea.

For the first time, I swam at the bottom of the sea,
It feels so good.
My bean paste filling is heavy,
But the sea is vast, my heart is pounding.
Pink coral waves its arms,
Watching me swim.

Every day, every day, nothing but fun,
The Osaka Namba Line is my home,
Sometimes I get bullied by sharks,
But when that happens, I just run away.

If I swim for a day, I'm starving,
My eyes are rolling around.
Sometimes I have to eat some shrimp,
Saltwater alone will make me soggy.
I bite from behind a rock,
It was a small fishhook.

No matter how much I struggle,
I can't get the hook out of my throat.
At the beach, a strange man,
Fished me up and was surprised.

After all, I'm just a Taiyaki,
A slightly burnt Taiyaki.
The man swallowed his saliva,
And ate me deliciously.
