I felt there was nothing happening musically
I was sitting down trying to write
And um, I wasn't getting any ideas coming out
So, I considered that complete exhaustion
Both mental and physical

So I decided probably what I had to do
Was feed myself again
So I spent ages in reading books
And getting back into dancing
With a new teacher, who was fantastic
Because, he was just a brilliant dancer
And he was very hard on me in the classes
So within a couple of months
I was really back to shape again

But, um
Then I found that I was spending so much time
Instead of working on the stimulus
I wasn't actually to getting down to the writing
So I just put a stop to that
And ever since it's been working on the writing
But it seemed to work, it seemed to clear the block a bit, so

What I, I think it actual feels very positive
From a, you know, an emotional and creative point of view
I think there's a lots of good things in store
For people that are trying to be creative
But it does feel a bit like this year
An awful lot of biggies have happened politically
And managerially shall we call in the world
So ah, I hope that goes down
And don't turn into anything
But I don't think it would
I think it's gonna be a good, good year

J'avais l'impression qu'il ne se passait rien musicalement
J'étais assise, essayant d'écrire
Et euh, je n'avais aucune idée qui me venait
Alors, j'ai considéré que c'était de l'épuisement complet
Tant mental que physique

Alors j'ai décidé que ce que j'avais à faire
C'était de me nourrir à nouveau
Alors j'ai passé des heures à lire des livres
Et à retourner à la danse
Avec un nouveau professeur, qui était fantastique
Parce que, c'était un danseur brillant
Et il était très dur avec moi en cours
Donc en quelques mois
J'étais vraiment de retour en forme

Mais, euh
Ensuite, j'ai constaté que je passais tellement de temps
Au lieu de travailler sur le stimulus
Je n'arrivais pas vraiment à me mettre à l'écriture
Alors j'ai juste arrêté
Et depuis, j'ai travaillé sur l'écriture
Mais cela a semblé fonctionner, cela a semblé dégager un peu le blocage, donc

Ce que, je pense que c'est vraiment positif
D'un, tu sais, un point de vue émotionnel et créatif
Je pense qu'il y a beaucoup de bonnes choses en réserve
Pour les gens qui essaient d'être créatifs
Mais ça ressemble un peu à cette année
Beaucoup de gros événements se sont produits politiquement
Et en gestion, appelons-les ainsi dans le monde
Alors, j'espère que cela se calmera
Et ne se transformera pas en quoi que ce soit
Mais je ne pense pas que cela se produise
Je pense que ce sera une bonne, bonne année
