A herd of cattle enter the city
The night, sad and desolate, grows sadder
A herd of cattle enter the city
No one asks after them anymore
The herd of cattle search for a river
But the river has run dry
The herd of cattle is suddenly sad, suddenly sad
Then, one day, they stand and dream of distant clouds

A person enters the city
Counting each step with a heavy heart
A person enters the city
No one familiar face to be found
The person searches for the green fields
But the fields lie fallow and empty
And so the person is suddenly sad, suddenly sad
The person suddenly feels a pang of sorrow for one's homeland

Oh, my homeland has fallen into disrepair
Why does war still persist?
My aged mother, her hopes dashed
Has passed into eternal slumber
My aged mother sleeps forever

May your lullaby echo through the ages
May your cradle rock in the void, in the void
May your hand guide me, as I wander lost
I wander lost for a lifetime
I wander lost in this fate
