We see with our eyes what we have become
We are dirt and ashes
In what great mercy did our dear God create Adam
And gave him Paradise as his home
He told him he could eat of all the fruits in Paradise
Vainly he forbade him from the fruit of a single tree, and said to him:
Why not eat: father, who are now with us
You will die the death of death from this fruit
God created for him the outcome of death
