El rural muy ofendido,

Se agarraron a balazos,

Arnulfo con su pistola,
3 tiros le dio al teniente

El teniente malherido,
Casi para agonizar,
Le dice: "Oiga, no se vaya,

Arnulfo se devolvió,
Para darle un tiro en la frente,

Ahí le pego el teniente

When a policeman passed by,
He said, "What are you looking at me for?",

The policeman was offended,
And punched him in the face,
With his gun in his hand,
Threatening to kill him

They exchanged gunshots,
They faced each other,
Arnulfo with his gun,
Shot the lieutenant three times

The lieutenant was badly wounded,
Almost ready to die,
He said, "Don't go away,
Finish me off"

Arnulfo turned around,
To shoot him in the forehead,
But as he turned,
The lieutenant shot him

How brave are the men,
Who kill each other face to face,
Each one with his gun defending,
Their rights

The lieutenant was a brave man,
He had proven it,
But he met a young rooster,
Who wasn't afraid

Arnulfo was badly wounded,
He was bleeding in a car,
When he arrived at the hospital,
Arnulfo was dying
