Guck, als ich erfuhr, ich geh' auf 37 in die Charts
Stand ich vor'm Ticketautomat, fuhr dann zur Arbeit mit der Bahn
Cash immernoch knapp, doch meine Tasche schon gepackt
Längst verabschiedet von Hamburg, verließ die Stadt über Nacht
Und zog um nach Berlin, schlief drei Monate auf der Couch
Job gekündigt, Sony Vorschuss, für's erste war alles dope
Erste eigene Tour, Start in Köln im Underground
Hundert Fans, die anderen Städte spielte ich vor leerem Haus
Kam zurück, war frustriert, nahm sos gut wie nichts auf
Der kalte Wind in Berlin peitschte mir auf die Haut
Und alles, was ich dachte, nächstes Album, mach es hot
Doch nach zehn Jahren Rappen hatt' ich über Rap alles gesagt

Ich ging auf Tour mit der Liga der MCees
Große Hallen, hörte sie noch schreien, als ich im Nightliner schlief
Und blieb von da an unterwegs, eingesetzt als der Back-Up
Das erste Mal, dass ich durch Rappen regelmäßig Cash hab'
Unter der Woche Studio, am Wochenende zu Shows fahren
Im Herzen Kind, mein Album erschien Oktober - 2012
Sie fanden's Album wack, die erste Single poppt
DVD und CD, beides blieb in der Box
Keine Zeit für den Schock, denn es ging Schlag auf Schlag
Zerissen in jeder Kritik, das Schlusslicht in den Charts
Fuck it, erster Tourtag, Oberhausen, 30 Leute gezahlt
Kamera an, Überraschungsgäste, alles ist im Arsch

Ein Zimmer in der Großstadt, wieder erneut broke, ohne Geld
Degradiert zum Joke, Album gefloppt und bloßgestellt
Niemals wirst du wissen, wer nach dem Kampf zu dir hält
Solang du nur gewinnst, du merkst es immer erst dann, wenn du fällst
CD-Hüllen auf meinem Tisch wie Stapel mit Tapes
Aufgenommen im Wohnzimmer, jedes Cover bemalt von mir selbst
Ich machte die Not zur Tugend, konnt' neue Stärke finden
Die Enttäuschung und die Wut, sie erweckten in meinem Herz einen King
Denn ich steigerte mein Output, trainierte wie in Boxer
Kämpfte mich Stück für Stück wieder zurück in jeden Kopf rein
Hasst mich für meine Fehler, doch ihr fickt den falschen
Ich zerfickte live Leben, um es jetzt wirklich allen zu beweisen
Denn das hier ist bestimmt nicht das Ende der Reise

I've come a long way, but haven't found my destination yet
Lace the next king, I still hadn't proven why
Back To The Future, Blackbook, my very first success
But it didn't change anything in my life, because that's not how it goes
Look, when I found out I was going to 37 in the charts
I stood in front of the ticket machine, then took the train to work
Cash still tight, but my bag already packed
Long said goodbye to Hamburg, left the city overnight
And moved to Berlin, slept on the couch for three months
Job quit, Sony advance, for the first time everything was dope
First own tour, start in Cologne in the Underground
Hundred fans, the other cities I played in front of an empty house
Came back, was frustrated, recorded almost nothing
The cold wind in Berlin whipped on my skin
And all I thought was, next album, make it hot
But after ten years of rapping, I had said everything about rap
Fuck it
They say I have no career and will never have one
And yet I stay here, rapping until the end of my days
They say I don't sell albums and I'll never chart

I didn't want tracks, I wanted songs with more music
I wanted themes about my life and s with more melodies
Look, I didn't want to stand in front of ten people anymore and shout keep it real
But my piece of the cake and I thought I deserved it
I went on tour with the League of MCees
Big halls, I could still hear them screaming when I was asleep in the Nightliner
And stayed on the road from then on, deployed as the Back-Up
The first time I have regular cash from rapping
Studio during the week, driving to shows on weekends
Child at heart, my album was released in October - 2012
They found the album wack, the first single pops
DVD and CD, both stayed in the box
No time for shock, because it went blow by blow
Torn apart in every review, the taillight in the charts
Fuck it, first day of tour, Oberhausen, 30 people paid
Camera on, surprise guests, everything is fucked up

A room in the big city, broke again, no money
Degraded to a joke, album flopped and exposed

CD cases on my table like stacks of tapes
Recorded in the living room, every cover painted by myself
I made a virtue of necessity, could find new strength
The disappointment and the anger, they awakened a king in my heart

Fought my way back into everyone's head bit by bit
