En un rancho de durango
Segun tenian controlado,
Por hectareas de amapola
Una gente habia sembrado,
De 800 a 1000 kilos
De goma habian calculado...

Ya se veian flores de rojo
Y una que otra morada,
En ese bello jardin
Puro bueno se esperaba,
Pero al ultimo la tierra
De sangre quedo manchada...

Entre esa hierba valiosa
Paco Nuñez vigilaba,
Con un cuerno atravesado
Y una super colgada,
Y de pronto los soldados
De entre el monte le gritaban...

Le decian que se rindiera
Y que las armas tirara,
Pero el no les hizo caso
Y su cuerno disparaba,
Se llevo 2 por delante
Tambien el quedo en la raya...

Los soldados preguntaban
Que de quien era esa planta,
Haya nadie conocia
El nombre de aquella banda,
Todos estaban barbones
Los chirucas les nombraban...
