It's all very strange
I had a dream
Perfect time -- perfect place
Perfectly safe
And did I mention

There was this boy who
Could mend a broken heart
In seconds
Just one touch
He wrapped his arms around me
Releasing all the pain and anger
In my dream
He says

"Follow me and fall in love
It's all that I am (about)
And I will follow you
And you'll fall never again"

Then out of nowhere
Without warning
Down comes the rain
And all my thoughts are washed away
A hurricane with rude intentions
Blowing my mind
Across the universe
By now my memory is fading
Into the light
Can hardly focus in
I can't believe I missed the ending
Dream incomplete
What could be worse

Ich hatte einen Traum
Fühlte sich so gut an – fühlte sich so richtig an
Konnte nur mir gehören
Und in diesem Traum

Da war ein Junge, der
Mich an alles Gute erinnerte
Mit seinen Augen
Sprach er eine Sprache
Die viel zu schön für Worte ist
In meinem Traum
Sagt er

"Folge mir und verliebe dich
Das ist alles, was ich bin (ausmacht)
Ich werde dir folgen und
Du wirst nie wieder fallen"

Ich weiß nicht – ich weiß nicht
Es ist alles sehr seltsam
Ich hatte einen Traum
Perfekte Zeit – perfekter Ort
Vollkommen sicher
Und habe ich erwähnt

Da war dieser Junge, der
Ein gebrochenes Herz heilen konnte
In Sekunden
Nur eine Berührung
Er legte seine Arme um mich
Befreite all den Schmerz und die Wut
In meinem Traum
Sagt er

"Folge mir und verliebe dich
Das ist alles, was ich bin (ausmacht)
Und ich werde dir folgen
Und du wirst nie wieder fallen"

Dann aus dem Nichts
Ohne Vorwarnung
Kommt der Regen herunter
Und all meine Gedanken werden weggespült
Ein Hurrikan mit rüden Absichten
Bläst meinen Verstand
Quer durch das Universum
Jetzt verblasst meine Erinnerung
Ins Licht
Kann mich kaum konzentrieren
Ich kann nicht glauben, dass ich das Ende verpasst habe
Traum unvollständig
Was könnte schlimmer sein

Ich wache auf
